Welcome back to part two of the Sachidan Taiwan oddessy. Today our heroes venture to Taipei Zoo.
We had been in Taiwan for less than a day when the president called. Taipei zoo had just opened and we were inspecting the geese when my phone rang with presidential urgancy. I sprang to attention, saluted, and unlocked my buzzing phone. This was an emergancy, we were about to be hit by an earthquake!
Now, it was only at the end of March that year that I had encountered my first ‘quake. The big one in Bangkok 2025 and I can’t say that I fancied another but, hold on a second. How did I get here?
